Deuteronomy 8:10 You shall eat your fill and bless the Lord your God for the good land that he has given you.
I know about eating my fill. I'm kind of an expert in that subject. I've eaten my fill in fast-food drive through lanes. I've eaten my fill at ice cream shops. I've eaten my fill after a beautiful backyard barbecuing session. I've eaten my fill after an impulse-driven craze in the candy aisle. I know about eating my fill.
The part I'm not always so good at is blessing the Lord for the good land that we've been given. The part I'm not always so good at is remembering to thank God for the blessings of life. I have a hunch I'm not alone. So let's work on that together. Let's give thanks to God for all the good gifts that we have.
