Psalm 119:38 Confirm to your servant your promise, which is for those who fear you. The psalmist prays fervently and with longing the prayer that is on our lips all the time. As individuals, we pray for guidance from God. What should I do in this situation? How can I be the best parent that I can be? How can I be more faithful each and every day? This is the prayer we share as a community. As groups, whether it be the PTA or the Board of Directors or the congregation, we pray "Confirm to your servants your promise..." Show us that you have us in your hand. Show us your way. Show us that you are guiding the path. And God does. Every day. We just need to watch for it.
