ASLC Devotions - Thursday

Acts 15:41 Paul went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

Paul was a missionary - he traveled frequently. He went from city to city proclaiming the good news of what God was doing in the world through Jesus Christ. He converted people. He baptized people. He convinced people of the truth of the gospel. He set up churches and trained the people to share the message with more people. And then he went on to other cities to do the same.

But it didn't stop there. Paul didn't abandon people. He maintained relationships. He wrote letters - those letters now make up most of the New Testament. He sent messengers and students to lead and proclaim. And sometimes he went back for return visits when he was able. Christianity isn't just about truth and faith. It's about relationships. Paul got that. And he maintained the relationships.

In Christ,
Pastor Seth
