ASLC Devotions -- Monday

Joshua 10:25 And Joshua said to them, ‘Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and courageous; for thus the Lord will do to all the enemies against whom you fight.’

Happy Easter Monday!

If Easter is about anything, it's about chocolate and peanut butter. No! That's not quite right.
If Easter is about anything, it's about an end to fear.

If Jesus is raised from the dead, what are you afraid of?
If death no longer means the end, what are you afraid of?
If even death has been defeated, what could possibly have any power over you?

What are you afraid of?

In Christ,
Pastor Seth

  1. AMEN !!! Death is not a bad thing anymore. Death is not "to be avoided at all costs" (good luck with that, anyway) and death should not be the secret word that no one wants to talk about when making plans or decisions... We all (individually and as a society) need to get over this stigma that death has - God already took care of that.

Death is the only way we are getting to heaven anyway (until Jesus comes again), so when the time comes for each of us - we should all rejoice!!!! Death can now be a wonderful thing. Praise God!
