In 2019, the Chinese API manufacturers produced and exported to the world 10.12 million tons of products, valued at $33.7 billion. The outbreak of COVID-2019 has brought rising demand in health and medical global wide. In the first quarter of 2020, the total export volume of APIs of China increased by 16.68%, reaching 3.90 million tons.
